Meet John - Stepping Up for Scouting

John Berry, Scout Leader at 1st Forres, is taking on a series of tough personal challenges to raise funds for our group. His first? Walking from coast to coast across Scotland, starting 8 May.

From Inverie in Knoydart to Montrose, John’s crossing the country on foot, passing through Invergarry, Newtonmore, Braemar and Tarfside, aiming to finish by 22 May.

He’s covering all costs himself, so every penny raised goes to support Scouting in Forres.

Fundraising Target: £500

This will help cover half our electricity bill and any extra will support our ongoing work with young people in the community.
